Screenprinting with Plant Pigments

Come play with the possibilities of screenprinting onto cotton linen using plant pigments instead of plastic inks! In this workshop we will explore ink making using dye plants and natural binders and learn to screenprint directly onto fabric. Each participant will take home a set of 4 linen dishtowels. All materials are provided. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels. No previous print experience is required.

Workshop facilitator Shannon Gerard is a fibre artist and printmaker, an avid gardener and a professional mischief maker! She teaches Print Media and Publications at OCAD University and runs a publishing imprint called Plant Parenthood on her herb farm in Stirling ON. $60+hst
